2-Day Course
The course is designed to educate Law Enforcement on best practice standards for death investigation and basic understanding of forensic pathology. The course provides the attendee with the knowledge needed to differentiate between natural, suicide, accidental, and homicide deaths. Additionally, the course identifies common issues at crime scenes, to include crime scene staging, evidence identification, and injuries. Through a working knowledge of legal requirements, injuries, decomposition and crime scene evidence, the law enforcement professional can identify evidence that will support a preliminary determination of cause and manner of death.
